CHRISTINE BYE, B.Comm, CHRP
Director, Professional Search & Principal
Christine received her Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Manitoba in 1999, with dual majors in Accounting and Human Resources Management. Upon graduation, Christine worked with AIESEC Canada, a Toronto-based non-profit organization where she held the position of Vice President of Finance and later extended her career to Poland where she provided instruction and facilitation within a private university institution.
Christine joined EnCana Corporation in 2002 as an HR Advisor providing expertise to the Oil Sands thermal (in-situ), conventional oil and gas, and CBM operational business groups. Christine's responsibilities also encompassed compensation planning, recruitment, performance management, and employee relations for technical and field based operational professionals.
From 2005 to 2007, Christine was an Executive Search Consultant with the national professional search division of an international staffing company. Christine's expertise focused on oil & gas and energy industry professionals within engineering and geosciences. Christine achievements included many awards as a consistent top producer. Christine received her CHRP (Certified Human Resources Professional) designation in 2007.
ERIN (MEARS) WILKINS, B.Mgmt (Marketing/IT)

Erin received her Bachelor of Management from the University of Lethbridge in 2000, with dual majors in Marketing and Management Information Systems. Upon graduation from university, she began working as an IT instructor, and was quickly promoted into the role of Divisional Operations Manager with CDI Corporate Education, Canada 's largest training provider. In this role, she was responsible for the management of the daily operations of the company's Calgary and Edmonton branches, the supervision of techical and administrative staff, the development of budgets and business plans in consultation with the Regional Vice President, and the development of course curriculum and training plans in consultation with companies throughout the province.
In 2005, she decided to take her career in a different direction and joined the professional search division of a major international staffing firm as an Executive Search Consultant. Within a year into her new career, she became one of the country's top producers, where her specialty was recruiting for the oil and gas sector, focusing on accounting, land, and engineering placements. She also led a variety of marketing initiatives for the division where she was instrumental in the implementation of extensive marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness.
SHERYL SLOAN, RPR

Sheryl commenced her career in the recruitment industry in 1995, holding professional recruitment positions at Drake International and Ian Martin where she focused on the provision of a wide range of personnel in Calgary 's oil patch, from senior executives to administrative personnel. To compliment her 13 years of recruitment experience, Sheryl holds a Marketing Diploma from Mount Royal College and has worked in various sales roles in Calgary since 1985, as well as drilling sites in Northern Alberta and British Columbia for an oil and gas service company.
From 2005 – 2007, Sheryl was an Executive Search Consultant and Operations Manager with the professional search division of an international staffing firm. Her primary focus was on the provision of technical and executive professionals for oil and gas and other industries. She was also instrumental in setting up many of the policies and procedures for the business and assisted with training programs and hiring of internal staff.
Sheryl brings tremendous recruiting experience to the Quaderra team. Her accomplishments include being the one of the top ranking search consultants in Canada in 2006 and 2007 for a national professional search firm, and achieving the standing of 2nd top revenue producer in Canada for three consecutive years while at Drake International.
JACKIE RAFTER, B.Ed., MBA

From 1987 to 1996, Jackie held several positions with Drake International, a privately held recruitment and technology company, where she was a top-performing consultant and branch manager, international project manager, trouble shooter, and director of corporate development. She was also involved in setting up the company's European licensing program, and in the negotiation of several proprietary technologies.
Jackie left the recruiting business in 1996 and completed her MBA at the University of Calgary . Upon graduation, she became involved in venture capital where she founded two junior capital companies on the Alberta Stock Exchange: Anorak Capital Corp. in 1997 (now Total Energy Services, Sym: “TOT: TSX”), an energy services company; and Roxi Capital Corp . in 1998 (acquired by Plastifab Corp, in 2003, “PFB:TSX”), a building technology company. Roxi Capital was the first public company in Canada ever to be formed with an all-female Board of Directors. From 2002-2004, Jackie managed a division of CDI Corporate Education, Canada 's largest training provider. From 2005 - 2007, Jackie started and developed a successful professional search division of an international staffing company focusing primarily on the oil and gas and mining industries.
Jackie has extensive international experience having worked in Monaco, England, Switzerland, and South Africa . Her varied expertise spans most functional business areas including new venture creation, venture capital, marketing, strategic planning, corporate restructuring, and international licensing. |
